Online Registration Information

Interested in getting a card? Please review the criteria below and apply below! 

• The online registration application is only available to residents within the boundary of Los Angeles County.
• You must be 18 or over. If you need to register a child or family member under the age of 18 please visit the library.
• Approval using this form is not guaranteed and we may request you to visit the library to provide additional documentation.
• Please complete the form below. All information must be accurate for online approval.
• If approved you will receive a digital library card number that you can use with our SMPL Mobile App just like a real card.
• Outside of Los Angeles County? Not able to register online? No problem!
  Please visit one of our libraries and review "Getting a Library Card" to apply in person.
