Our family grew up in the home at 463 18th St. in Santa Monica that had once belonged to Stanton Macdonald Wright. Though we took them for granted at the time, there were several mosaics left in the patio of the residence....prototypes for the mural at the auditorium at the high school. I wish I had a photo of Mr. Wright in front of that house! It has sadly now been torn down after the death of my mom in 1996 and very quickly a Mcmansion was built to take the place of that stucco and red tile home!
