Register for the program at any SMPL location beginning June 11, then turn in your completed form by August 20 to be eligible to win prizes for your summer reading activities. Pick up one of our monthly print calendars at any library location, or check out the electronic version. Adult Summer Reading-related events will be marked with a READ! pennant like the one on the left. Join us for any of those events, then let us know about it on your Exercise Your Mind. ELIGIBILITY: The 2016 Exercise Your Mind. READ! drawing is open to Santa Monica Public Library cardholders with an account that is current and in good standing on August 20, 2016. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older, and must register for Adult Summer Reading with any Santa Monica Public Library branch between June 11, 2016 and August 20, 2016. Employees of Santa Monica Public Library and the City of Santa Monica and their immediate family members are ineligible.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Drawing entries must be returned to the Santa Monica Public Library by close of business (5:30 pm) on August 20, 2016 to be eligible for the prize drawing.
ENTRY FORMS: Entry forms may be obtained from any Santa Monica Public Library location, beginning on June 11, 2016. Completed forms may be returned to any Santa Monica Public Library location by August 20, 2016.
ENTRY LIMITATIONS: One entry allowed per Santa Monica Public Library cardholder. Santa Monica Public Library reserves the right to deny late, incomplete or illegible entries.
DRAWING AND PRIZE LIMITATIONS: Drawings for prizes will be conducted at random. Prize winners will be notified via email or telephone of their prize and how the prize can be claimed. To claim prizes, prize winners will be required to show current government-issued identification. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be returned or exchanged for other prizes. Santa Monica Public Library reserves the right to modify prizes as necessary.
