The library's online catalog (BiblioCommons) and app (SMPL Mobile) offer remote access to your account. You can use these tools to view/manage your account and utilize a variety of library services.
You will need your library card number and PIN to access your account. Your 4-digit PIN was assigned to you when you registered for your library card. For privacy and security reasons, forgotten PIN numbers are not provided over the phone. You may click Forgot your PIN? in the online catalog, and follow the prompts to change your PIN. Alternatively, you may bring a current Photo ID to one of our five locations and ask the Customer Service staff to assign you a new PIN.
There are two login options:
Log in once for an entire session: This login function appears in the upper right corner of most online catalog screens, or in the menu bar of the app.
Log in to perform a specific task: If you have not logged in for an entire session, the system will prompt you for your library card number and PIN each time you use any of the features described below.
The first time you login you will be prompted to register your account by responding to a few questions. Once your account has been set up, you can use your account to perform a variety of actions. The table below lists many of the most useful actions you can perform:
*A basic catalog is available for those who do not wish to register in BiblioCommons or download the SMPL Mobile App. The basic catalog retains basic account management functions but excludes reading lists, recommendations, and social networking features.
